DDoS attacks evolve

It is funny as I was just thinking a while back about DDoS attacks possibly using P2P networks to further their aims. Lo and behold, there is a story on just that. It only makes sense really to try and abuse a P2P protocol. There are already tens of thousands of computers, if not millions, using these to trade stuff with. This kind of makes me think of the article I wrote a while back about the Darwin effect on the world of viruses and malware. When it comes to ingenuity you really do have to hand it to the writers of malware.
