MySpace hands over the data

Well not that the outcome was ever really in doubt, but MySpace has now handed over the data requested of it by the State Attorney Generals. What they sought was information on any registered sex offenders on the MySpace site. This may sound like a slam dunk proposal, however, even MySpace has to adhere to privacy laws, even for such a request. Either way, a happy ending ensued when the data was handed over. This is one site that my kids will have nothing to do with. Rather scary to see how many deviants are cruising there.
