MySpace versus Attorney Generals

Quite a few State Attorney Generals have served notice to MySpace that they are seeking any information that has been unearthed by MySpace’s data mining as it impacts any paedophiles. Bizarrely enough MySpace has not honored this request forthwith, but rather is weighing its response. This really is a win/win situation for MySpace. Simply hand over the info, then reap the kudos earned for being a good netizen. I think everyone can agree that busting deviants is a good cause. I will be watching this story with great interest to see what comes of it.
