Upcoming security conferences

Well the computer security conference season is now fully upon us. Question is, how many of you are going to attend, arguably, the biggest one out there, Blackhat? Don’t know if I will bother going or not this year. I have found that the slate of talks there while semi-interesting have very little impact on my day to day duties as a network security analyst. It would be nice if someone put together a conference that actually catered to those interests. After all, if it were not for the .gov and .mil crowd there would not be a whole lot of attendance at many of the big security conferences. It isn’t exactly as if they have been forced by market conditions to make any changes as too many IT budgets in the aforementioned .gov and .mil need to be expended :-)
