Well if any of you monitor the computer security news outlets you have then liekly heard of the Microsoft DNS flaw. There hadn’t been a bug involving the RPC interface for some time. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the ……… Funny thing is that the RPC protocol is incredibly complicated to understand let alone program, I imagine. Heck, try finding some quality documentation for RPC! I haven’t yet found anything good for it. Anyhow, it took little time for a bot to use this exploit. On that note if any of you have some good online resources for RPC drop me a line.
