British hacker to be extradited
Well, Gary McKinnon will soon be heading to the United States to face the music over his hacking of a military network there. He has justifiably been sweating bullets ever since the American’s requested his extradition from the United Kingdom. His lawyer’s assertions of Guantanamo bay like possible detention are a little far fetched. What Gary McKinnon is looking at though is a lengthy prison term for his hack. His claims of "I didn’t cause any damage" really are immaterial. The fact remains that he broke into a military computer network. Whether he did any damage or not really isn’t the point. Hopefully other wannabe "Hack the Matrix" people are paying attention to this case. You break into a computer network, you are a criminal. Simple as that. Break into an American military computer network and you will very likely get caught and go to jail.

He should be hired by the American Government to help secure their Military Networks. He should be given a medal not a jail sentence… It makes me wonder what they base their security on? maybe a switch/firewall combo that they got form Best Buy
