Well the Amero trial is once again making headlines. Headlines though for all the right reasons. This trial once again highlights how juries often view Internet matters, or specifically in this case, Internet security matters. When it comes to these types of trials you had darn well better have some expert witnesses lined up. Not only that, but expert witnesses who can break down the technical matters into terms that the layman can understand. That is why the expert witness is making a four figure per diem after all. It is hard to believe that since the Internet began to take off in 1994, thanks to porn, that many people still don’t really understand it. Then again though, not everyone has the keen interest in it that you and I do.
