Corporate espionage

Well it was a rather sexy statement that Patricia Dunn of Hewlett-Packard made. She said that corporate espionage was quite prevalent in the high tech industry, and that HP had been the target of it. This is one of those things that would be hard to quantify seen as not too many companies actually complain of this act. Do any of you who work at large corporations list this as one of your concerns? Intellectual property is a well established area of law, so it makes sense that corporate espionage be not far behind it.
