IT Security training
How many of you guys actually get sent on IT Security courses? Did that just cause you to laugh out loud, as the closest you have ever come to company sponsored training is a book they bought you? I can relate to that scenario. For those of you who do go on course where do you go? There is more to the world of IT security training then SANS that is for sure. Finding quality, and relevant training can be difficult. Your thoughts?

IT Security has been such a hot topic in recent years, so I decided to search for training facilities that can better prepare me for what lies ahead. From my search, I have found some great resources for IT Security training. Let me suggest that if you work for a company that has a tuition reimbursment plan, then take advantage of this. Try looking at the NSA website and going through there Centers of Academic Excellence listings

These schools offer Masters/PhD/Certificates in IT Security which can enhance your success in the field.
Another great resource is

For those of you who enjoy Computer Based Training can refer to these websites

If this helps, I have just been accepted to Capitol College in their Masters of Science in Information Assurance program. Its 12 courses, ALL taken online, and they are either 8 or 16 week courses.
