Finding tools that one can be comfortable with can be a chore. Especially so when doing reverse engineering, which is not an easy task in and of itself. Personally I like the ones from Heaventools. The PE Explorer is very nice and also has a built in disassembler. That plus the Flex Hex editor are tools that I find rather handy when looking at a PE format file. Best part is that the tools are very reasonably priced. Oh yes, the disassembler also comes with the ability to unpack both UPX and UPack files. Quite nice. Take a look for yourselves.
