MPAA allegedly hacks P2P network

Well just recently MPAA (Motion Picture Associate of America) was accused of hacking one of BitTorrents search engine servers. This is really rather funny, but also something I would of imagined that MPAA, RIAA and others would of done a long time ago. It only makes sense really. The only really effective way of going after a distributed network is to find one of their servers if any, or of setting yourself up as a supernode and then hit the users. The only thing that amazes me, assuming the allegation is true, is that MPAA or others have taken this long to take this type of offensive action. After all there are plenty of talented hackers out there willing to do most anything for a buck or two.
