During my recent foray into the world of the PE Header format I was beset by problems. Though as I realized they were mostly of my own making. Documentation from MSDN was clear, though disingeniously so, but I still managed to muddy the waters for myself. Long story short, I was able to finally make sense of the format and account for all the bytes. Heh, I really need to take my own advice and take a principled approach when it comes to learing, especially so for this type of low level information.
